About
I got my first computer when I was 10 years old and it was good. A lot of things have happened since then and I’ve gathered up a few things to say about this or that.
I’ve always viewed building software as more of an art than a utility. After years of working in industry, I found myself wanting to create and share more of my own work. This blog is one of those creations.
Current Works in Progress
I am currently pulling on a few large threads that I have always been interested in.
- Django Control Room(DCR): A framework for embedding powerful diagnostic and management tools directly inside the Django Admin. I’ve released a suite of tools under DCR for managing Redis, Caches, Celery, URLs, and Signals. My goal is to simplify the stack; I want to replace external dependencies like Celery Flower with native, elegant solutions. Honestly, I wouldn’t start a Django project without it.
- Unspecified Business: I am an entrepreneur at heart and previously founded a VC backed startup some time ago. I may be at it again - more to follow.
